Calling all local sporting talent!
If youβre an aspiring athlete living in Bridgend County Borough and want to apply for support, the Halo Sport Foundation is the place for you.
The foundation welcomes applications from all athletes who compete at regional level or above and who live, go to school or have a training base in the county borough.
Research shows that many young people in sport are unable to meet the rising cost of competition and training as they progress. This funding aims to support them so they can fulfil their full potential and - in doing that - inspire other people across our county borough to follow their own sporting dreams.
Every successful applicant gets free training membership for Halo centres.
π
Closing date: 20 February 2023

π’ Have your say: Budget Consultation
Every year, as part of the budget setting process, we consult with the public to seek their views on what they consider should be the priority areas for allocating the budget for the forthcoming financial year, and to examine those views against funding provided by the Welsh Government.
The council faces an unprecedented financial challenge over the coming years, which estimates a funding gap of up to Β£20m in the 2023 - 2024 financial period.
The consultation covers the following areas:
β’ Prioritising council services
β’ Council tax levels
β’ Digitalisation of council services
β’ How the council has performed over the past 12 months
